One more game is joining the Cubeast world. Build a guild, collect Cubeasts, and climb to the top of the Colosseum league — that's Cubeast Colosseum. Today we're sharing a small first look.
The stage is a corner of the Asterion continent, in an old Colosseum guild house that's stood empty for a long time. You become a young attuner hanging the dust-covered sign back up, gathering and raising Cubeasts to compete in the league held each season.
The most exciting part is, of course, the Cubeasts. Right from the start you choose your first companion among Buldugi, Seolchomong, and Puana (there's also a route where you crack open the "Egg of Fate"), and fill out the field guide one slot at a time. We've drawn over a hundred Cubeasts so far, and seeing these guys actually clash in the Colosseum on screen for the first time, it felt like a world that had only existed as drawings was coming to life.
Battles play out automatically; the outcome is decided by your lineup and how you run the guild. In the Cubeast universe, after Defense, this is us taking on another game with a pretty different flavor.
It's still a prototype, but we plan to grow it into a proper game, step by step. Picture which Cubeasts you'd want to build your guild with, and look forward to it.
The moment the Cubeasts first clash in the Colosseum — this is where you'll see it first. 🧊
